Don Fauls collection, circa 1950's-1990's.

The collection consists of photographs of athletes and famous people Don Fauls knew during his long and accomplished career as an athletic trainer at Florida State, many of which include personal messages to Fauls. Included in the photos are Jim Lyttle, Robert Clifton Renn, Tony Ferrara, Dick Howser, Bud Whitehead, Ron Sellers, Steve Tensi, Jack Nicklaus, Burt Reynolds, Robert Urich, Danny Litwhiler, Ricardo Montalban, Bobby Bowden, J.K Kennedy, Daniel Greene, Sonny Shroyer, Kim Hammond, John Keith, Doug Martin, Ernie Lanford, Pinky Pelham, Greg Flowers, Kenny Knox, and Cantey Higdon. There are also plaques given to Don Fauls as awards and mementos.

In 1954, Don Fauls left his job as trainer in the St. Louis Cardinals organization to become head trainer at Florida State University. With only a two-year break, the man called "Doc," and "Rooster," was Seminole trainer until 1986. He became a national leader in his field and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Hall of Fame. The Florida State College for Women (FSCW) Artist Series began in 1923. Dean Ella Opperman was the first person in charge of organizing the series.
